2. What can you learn that people don’t know?
Being able to solve their problems will put you in front of the market place where people need your service or expertise.
3. What is one problem you wish someone would help you with or helped you with early on?
Solving problems right away until you keep your prospects or customers around longer.
4. What is in the head of your exact target prospect?
When you go hone in on the true problems, you know and understand your prospect. A good resource to better understand how you do this is reading the Ultimate Sales Letter by Dan Kennedy. A great resource to gain skills in copy writing.
5. So what percentage of your emails be value based?
Really all of them. People should get some value of what you say without having to feel pitched to products and services all the time.
6. Talk about your products or service and what it does and does not do.
Which can be a powerful transition that many business owners forget to change into that mode.
7. Which is better?
Sending a long email or send a short one and send them to a blog post? Test it, as doing both can be good. Which one takes more action. Those emails that lead to a blog post can lead to more traffic to your blog which can build sales no matter how old that blog post is.
8. Understand that your list is different from those who see your RSS feed from the emails online.
Always make call to actions for them to get on your list even if they are reading your broadcast RSS feed post.
