When you truly know how you make sales in your business, especially in network marketing, with products and distributors, you must look at how industry leaders bring in cold market, their warm market, and how they are introduced to create a sale.

Yes, I’ll admit I was attracted to certain people because of the way they market.

  • Are they trust worthy?
  • Does it look like something I can do?
  • Is it something I feel comfortable in marketing too?
  • Do I believe in the product and service?
  • Will this be easy to build a team and create sales too?

Process how this works, each section, most important thing to know from building a business from home.

1. You have got to understand your target market
2. Capture a list to sell to.
3. Create responsiveness in the list. Call to actions to get them to deciding to buy from you.
4. Funded proposals
5. Sales formula in how to sell
6. Closing, upselling, and recruiting

Using this process you are going to get people in your business.

There are different spectrum of the hotness of a prospect in network marketing.

1. Cold, not looking. Got bills to pay, wish had opportunity. Not looking, not researching, takes a lot of work.
2. To get to the buyers.

In between you have the decision making process to create that optimal conversions for network marketing. There are phases of it, and going through different things through the phase.

Have you convince them to buy?

Have they looked at it and making a decision now?

If they are thinking about joining, and right in the middle, can you close 90%?

Don’t know what it is and think they want to do it. Are they right in the middle?

People they want to join something.

Finding the best way to join, best person is someone who has bought something from you before.

You will find these people loyal to you for everything.

Here is why you’ll get optimal conversions for network marketing:

You find one closer to a buying position, the easier to sell to them.

Question is who are those people? How do you target those people here?
Faster than you can turn them.

Defining the spectrum of people and how to target problems. Research and think about.

Give a bonus with those in target market.

Why are they joining this business in the first place?

Why is it they join network marketing?

1. More money to do something specific. Most of the time it’s 1,2, 5,000 a month. Avg. income $3,000 a month.
2. Believe they can actually do what you tell them to do. Way you are doing is not cool. Same thing they don’t think they can join with you. It’s about doing it in a way, they are looking at you and really like this.

How you are doing this is cool, doing what he’s doing with people that I know. Risk of their decision drops to nothing.
Why are people buying this?

3. Where are they looking for a person to join. Buying from their emails?
Home meetings. Online event. Buy from an online event again. Direct sales. Reach out the same way they buy, likely they will buy again.
4. Where? What are they looking for? What do they really want? Most people don’t wake up and say I want a career change, esp. after 30. Have kids and can’t pay for college, etc.
5. What are they looking for and how can you speak to them from that.

Who are they? Who exactly is the target audience? What is the avator?

Bill Britt, built a big team.

Now passed away, yet taught that majority are people that really desire to succeed. 25-35 married, making under 75k a year.
That group of people haven’t given up on their dreams, Have a reason to have goals, moldable. Generality.

Think about million dollar earners, some older, most fit in this age range.

Bring people in these categories that you can coach.

What are the problems in this network marketing industry? This is the magic…
Look for a specific problem that you want to solve. Lead conversions, sponsor not helping, need mentorship. Don’t know where to get traffic, etc.
Frustrated with something. There has got to be a way to sell. Looked for a company and a review.
Clicked a link, went to a buy page and joined. Was it free to try, like this new system that converts higher?

Why are you ready? You had problems the market had.
How is it?
Presence state. Then a desired state.
In between all these walls and problems.
Who do you know?!!!

Brutal strategies of this industry, presence state to desire state.
Cold call realators, family, friends. Great if you have a great market around you.

In reality they don’t have a mentor.

Selling one thing and around inconsistency. Where they are and where they want to be.

Capture a list and solve problems in how to build responsiveness. Taking people that want to buy and solve their problems for them. That’s what you want to do, talk about your problems.

In alien people… my deal is better than your deal. They start making fun of the low commissions, make fun, just be general about it.

Coffee house letter… build thousands for low commissions of hundreds.

Provide mentor to direct them on the way. Be real and solve problems and they will want to join them.

People alien people in other companies, don’t join that juice deal. Don’t be specific about it.

Be general about it. If you alien people, those people are your target market.

Understand the life cycle of a network marketer.

People are like a clock dial.

At high noon: people are un-recruit-able, what they are doing is hot, working, don’t join that guy for… like a politician.
They will never join your team. People will alienate them. Build friendships and never offend them.

Incomes down a bit at 3 pm.

At 6 pm , something bad happen, FTC shut them down, break laws, company went out of business.

You see, David was just friends, and set in not joining Cedrick. Then something happened to the company. Shut off the network marketing commissions.
Now it’s only business to business. No one wants to buy, they just want commissions.

Remember, why do they join? YOU!

Buy then end of the day 67 people joined.
Friendships with people at high noon, you’re the source, help them solve their problems.

Close to open.

Be careful in your target marketing. Up line will never join their team when they are looking for a team to join.
Target market, build responsiveness. Trust with buying.
Solve their problems.

Reasons why have joined your first home business.
What made you make a decision to join.

What is it that you joined?


Freedom is his favorite answer.

Other reasons are:

  • Work for self, taking action.
  • Wife makes 6 figures a year. Outside job, People always have a reason. Looking for security.
  • Replace income, post divorce. Income level changed.
  • Job changing their structure.

How much is standing in your way?
Knowledge, in what?

What is standing in your way from making 10k?

Knowledge on how to understand funnel, traffic, convert. System and structure.
Exercise. 3 jobs, homeless, living in car.

Here is what you need to get good at for optimal conversions for network marketing:

Why people are here. Join for specific reasons.
They stay in the industry.
Have time freedom. Ability to move.
Make 6 figures a year.
Most than they have ever made in their life.
Demonstrate and show what they want. Run in problems again because it’s the same stuff all the time.

Assignment is to simply make a note through the day: What is it the problems, the chat, sharing, that make them make a decision to join. Different professions.
Who are they?

  • People have successful professions. Money to spend and want to learn.
  • Who is that we are actually selling to.
  • What problems do they have.
  • Who is it that wants to learn?

Listening to people’s audios with people’s stories. Broke baker. What are they teaching? Who they are and how to target them?
Learning who you are selling to. Be aware.
Listening to learn who you are selling to and effectively make decisions.

Before you set up capture pages is know the traffic source for network marketing.

3 kinds of traffic when it comes to capture pages.

1. Ideal for one kinds of traffic. Cold traffic. Got there with no referral. Banner ad, Facebook ad, they haven’t met you and don’t know you yet.
2. Partner driven traffic, go here and do this.
3. Hot traffic, bought from you. Make most money.

Recently I went to a local meetup group in Nashville, and we discussed several ideas of how to get optimal conversions online. These go hand in hand together with the information I just shared with you. Social proof section. Really for colder traffic.

When warm traffic comes to your page. If it converts to cold traffic, one of the biggest reason is that you treat warm traffic the same as cold traffic.

Don’t need to do that with one that has warmed up to you. Over trust.

Another mistake, is conversion rates. Got 5,000 leads. How many sales you are getting? 2 sales.
Thousands on the converting page. High conversion rate doesn’t mean how much you make.

Predispose liking your offer.
2 sales or 5 people, 5 sales.

Focus on the facts that matter.

Want right people looking at your offer.
Next landing page. Basic 2 step landing page.
Works very well for a good reason.
Love 2 step opt ins because it is more of a commitment.

Test done with 2 step over 1 step. Increase by 60%.

Law of influence of commitment.

Like micro commitments. They are in and committed.

    This is a great post Alecia, and just to add something extra when it comes to internet marketing with these sales funnels it’s always best to split A&B test your marketing campaigns and track them so you know where each lead is opting in from.  This is going to help you (marketer) know how and which page is converting higher versus the others.
