Social Media Effective Habits

Recently I found a classic book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey. Lot’s of valuable nuggets you have to sink in a couple of times in order to apply them.

So I’ve been digging in finding ways to apply them to social media. Since that is where we can find a maximum number of people effectively, of course. The book lays out principals and ideas of how to integrate your character into your experiences.

I like Albert Einstein’s observation in this new level of thinking,“The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.”

Once you understand these principals, then you can integrate it into your life. “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. -Aristotle

Our habits is a composite of our actions, our character. It is powerful because it is the unconscious patterns in our life. Habits can define your purpose, your knowledge, your skills, your desires. So what can you expect out of effective habits?

Marilyn Ferguson explains, “No one can persuade another to change. Each of us guards a gate of change that can only be opened from the inside. We cannot open the gate of another, either by argument or by emotional appeal. “

See some of the habits listed in this book and how it can see how your habits can replace old patterns of self-defeating behavior into new habits.
