Franchise versus Network Marketing

Taking a look at different types of business opportunities, rather it be franchise versus network marketing, you have to look at aspects to determine how you can be successful in either type you venture.

With both franchises and network marketing, there are training’s that have been proven for you to implement.
The franchise business model leaves you responsible for delivering the product or service, along with hiring staff, etc. The initial set-up fees can run thousand of dollars which also includes any royalties you must pay to the franchiser, which can be 4 to 8% of your gross sales.  Most don’t even break-even the first year either.

The network marketing model allows you to be a distributor, consultant, or representative for a company.  The start up initial fees can vary as well from about $100 to $1,000 depending on the company.  There may be monthly cost as well, but typically no more than $50 to $200.  Since the initial cost is so low, you can break even sooner.

Taking just the start up cost plus the monthly upkeep of a network marketing company is significantly lower than a franchise.  The decision is seriously made when figuring out your financial goals.  Both can bring significant income, but is it unlimited?
